Editorial standards and corrections
Fútbol.co.nz is an independent bilingual football outlet, run in New Zealand, covering football for the Spanish-speaking and English-speaking community here. These are the standards we hold ourselves to.
Independence
We are editorially independent. Our opinions are our own. Sponsorships and partnerships never decide what we cover or what we say, and any sponsored or paid content is clearly labelled as such.
Accuracy and sourcing
We work to get it right. We base our reporting on named, verifiable sources and check facts before we publish. We do not invent quotes, results or information, and we never present fabricated content as real.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it and say so. To request a correction, email hola@futbol.co.nz with a link to the article and what needs correcting. We review every request and update promptly.
Languages
We publish in both Spanish and English. Our pieces are written natively in each language, not machine-translated, so each audience gets the real thing.

Fútbol.co.nz es un medio de fútbol bilingüe e independiente, hecho en Nueva Zelanda, que cubre el fútbol para la comunidad hispanohablante y de habla inglesa de acá. Estos son los estándares que nos exigimos.
Independencia
Somos independientes en lo editorial. Nuestras opiniones son propias. Los auspicios y las alianzas nunca deciden qué cubrimos ni qué decimos, y todo contenido pagado o auspiciado se identifica con claridad.
Precisión y fuentes
Trabajamos para acertar. Nos basamos en fuentes verificables y contrastamos los datos antes de publicar. No inventamos citas, resultados ni información, y nunca presentamos contenido inventado como real.
Correcciones
Cuando nos equivocamos, lo corregimos y lo decimos. Para pedir una corrección, escribe a hola@futbol.co.nz con el enlace del artículo y lo que hay que corregir. Revisamos cada solicitud y actualizamos a la brevedad.
Idiomas
Publicamos en español y en inglés. Cada texto se escribe original en su idioma, no es una traducción automática, para que cada lector reciba lo auténtico.
